In 2020, GCC completed the third and largest phase of their current campus, adding a 950-seat, two-story Worship Hall and extended Gathering Hall, along with new classrooms, administrative offices, and amenity spaces to foster educational and ministry growth. Sift was engaged to design a cohesive wayfinding system, tying together six buildings comprising the campus. Over 350 building identity, directional and room identity signs were designed to orient visitors and members around the new and existing spaces. The signage marries the organic warmth of the structural arches with the church’s brand font and colors.

As Grace has grown over the past 28 years, new members often inquire about the congregation’s beginnings. The 2020 addition posed multiple opportunities for storytelling, displaying the work of church members, and highlighting the unique characteristics of the congregation’s culture. In this spirit, Sift designed a 20-foot wide Lobby Identity Wall, incorporating founding scriptural verses, highlighting the mission statement, and laying a framework for key events and photos leading up to the 2020 addition. The mission statement is displayed in brand font, while the scripture verses make up the timeline’s datum, and dimensional tick marks organize nearly three decades of church photos.
